Job Description for Research Associate in Autonomous Surgical Devices

The Surgical and Assistive Robotics Lab at IIIT-Bangalore is looking for one Research Associates in the area of intelligent surgical devices . We are looking for someone passionate about image processing and visualization.

Required Skills:

1. Proficiency in object-oriented programming (C++ and Python)
2. Experience in processing MRI images is highly preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

1. B.E./ B.Tech. in Computer Science/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation/Mechanical/Information Technology; MTech or MS at reputed institutes is preferred.
2. Strong academic record in Image processing or computer graphics and related courses.

Remuneration will be match (or better) existing government pay scales for research associates. The duration of the project is expected to be about 2 years. The offer will be for a contractual position of 1 year, which can be extended based on performance. The place of work will be Electronic City, Bangalore.

Job Description for Research Associate in Intelligent Exoskeleton Devices :

The Surgical and Assistive Robotics Lab at IIIT-Bangalore is looking for two Research Associates in the area of intelligent exoskeleton devices. We are looking for someone passionate on designing sensory circuits and developing actuation systems.

Required Skills:

1. Proficiency in programming (C and Python)
2. Experience in ARM microprocessor programming

Minimum Qualifications:

1. B.E./ B.Tech. in Computer Science/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation/Mechanical/Information Technology; MTech or MS at reputed institutes is preferred.
2. Strong academic record in circuits and related courses
3. Industrial/Practical experience preferred
